The most important question to consider is which uni offers you courses that of greatest interest to you. As you might know, film&tv courses can vary vastly in terms of content. Therefore, you need to compare the course offerings in this filed side by side and choose the one that appeals to you the most.

I suspect that the course fees will be not too different between the uni’s that you listed, so this might not be a large deciding factor.

Next to consider is living costs and the state that the uni is located.

One marked distinctive feature of Curtin is that it is in Western Australia. I lived in WA for a year and could not get over the feeling of living in a country totally isolated from the rest of Australia. This would have been due to the fact that Perth is thousands of Km from the nearest large city such as Melbourne. If you don’t mind that, then that’s not a problem. Perth and surrounds is beautiful and if you get the chance to explore WA you will find it a place of extraordinary beauty.

Living expenses are likely to be a tad higher than those in other capital cities of Aust, because they are so much more remote.

South Australia is very sleepy place. If you like a relaxed and quiet lifestyle without the buzz, then UniSA is worth considering on that basis.

Griffith is located in Queensland, which enjoys a sub-tropical climate and the campus is beautiful. However, it is some distance from Brisbane city and the Gold Coast, so you will need to do a bit of travelling if you want to enjoy the night life.

Comparing living expenses can be difficult because it all depends on your lifestyle. The biggest chunk out of your budget will be accommodation. If you are able to share with other students or stay on campus, then it can be fairly inexpensive in comparison to living on your own.

You can tweak the living expenses, but you cannot tweak the location and the courses, so consider your priorities.

    Hope this helps.
