To go back to college, or not, that is the question?

beachlover4 asked:

I am a 23 year old who received my AA Degree last December, but am wondering if I should go back to get my Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications. I work as an Assistant Office Engineer/Agtek tech, but don’t really see where I could crawl up the ladder. What should I do?

To be competitive it’s a good idea to go back to college. You Associates will only get you so far, and the pay for workers with a Bachelors degree is almost twice as much. Plus it makes your resume more appealing to potential employers.

I went back to school to jump-start a career that wasn’t climbing as fast as I wanted - best thing I ever did. I’m having more fun than ever before, with more responsibility and more of a paycheck.

I completed my degree just a few weeks before my 50th birthday. It’s never too late, and I’ll probably go back again some day - but just for fun.

    Do it.
