Good jobs that pay over $40,000 that don’t require lots of experience?

Rico Trump asked:

I’m still on my first post-college job and only making a crappy $32,000 a year after being there for 2 years. I have a Mass Communications degree.

What are some jobs where I can start at $40,000 with a communications degree and not much experience?

Considering the economy and all that, and the fact that you have a com degree (which doesn’t open up many career opportunities anyway as you know) and actually have a job that pays over 30,000 you should be thankful. Two years isn’t too bad, with more experience you can have more to put on your resume.

I can’t think of anything that pays over 40,000… I’m getting my BA in psych right now and my biggest fear is that I won’t be able to even find any job at all when I graduate, which sucks.

Have you considered going back to school for a graduate degree? That will increase your chances of finding a higher paying job, or perhaps another undergrad degree that’s more substantial.

Best of luck, I know it sucks!

Any type of managerial position would probably make over $40K. If you get a sales job and are good at it, you can make well over $40k.
